Design with a Thought (D.W.T) is a blog about majorly forgotten connection between design and marketing and all things related to the two industries. Design as an industry developed out of ever rising marketing objectives. First color printing on tin cans was invented to boost sales, not for the sake of pretty looks. The benefits of designing with marketing in mind have somehow been washed off from the view of an average Graphic/Web designer as the industry developed rapidly in recent years.
The aim of this blog is to teach and inform our colleagues and anyone interested about marketing side of designer’s workflow, as well as self-marketing techniques. We will publish tutorials, articles, videos, freebies and much more for you to explore.
The idea behind is very simple, client in need of design services is not in need of beauty, he is in need of sales/branding/brand recognition or basically profit. Our aim is to teach you how you can benefit from delivering thoughtful design project to your client and grow in the industry.
